We support our partner Eqip / IT-Suppliers in sourcing one of their contracting requirements for a Financial Industry customer in Zurich.

DEVOPS ENGINEER KUBERNETES & API MANAGER

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Тake the lead in enhancing and maintaining the development and operation of the API Management platform that enables the entire SIX and its clients
• use your interpersonal skills to work very closely to shape the discussion with architecture, security, and the platform provisioning team to facilitate the best possible usage of our platform
• improve engineering standards and drive continuous automation of processes and building and maintaining multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Argo CD, Tekton, Ansible
• Develop custom plugins in LUA for our API Gateway
• Stay on top of the latest automation and platform engineering developments and educate other team members and stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience with and opinionated about containerization (OpenShift), infrastructure as code, and other cloud platform concepts
• Good understanding and practical experience of DevOps practices and automation frameworks as well as Knowles of the implementation of API service architectures (REST, microservices)
• Proficient in LUA development
• Communicative team player, able to coordinate, steer, and make decisions
• Knowledge in JAVA or Golang is a bonus as well as prior experience with any API management systems such as KONG, Apigee, or Axway
• Fluent in German, English, and Spanish is a plus.
